Swim Lesson Details
Friendly Sensory Swim is available in private 30 min sessions for wheelchair or minimal movement children. (With an additional 15 minutes allotted for getting your child set up, and in and out of the pool) Lessons are 1:1 only. Changing table area provided post swim. Warm water temperatures and hydraulic lift for water entry are provided. Swimmers are required to swim in cover pants on over the diaper. Special needs swimwear are available on Amazon for $26. Friendly Sensory Swim Sessions are not really swim lessons, but more of a water exercise and stimulation session. Miss Shawnda is certified EC-12 in special education and will be teaching these sessions.

Our Policies:
MAKE UP DAY: We will have one make up day at the end of the term. If you are absent due to illness or we had a storm we will make up classes on this day. Make up for weather is August 11 & 12 with RSVP. REFUNDABLE LESSONS: Lessons are non-refundable unless there is someone on the waitlist who wants to take over your time slots. If we have rain/thunder/lighting and I cancel classes, then you are welcome to come on our makeup day. But class sizes may be larger on that day. If we do not have at least 4 children signing up for a camp we will call you and discuss what you want to do. We will have one make up day at the end of summer. If you are absent due to illness or we had a storm we will make up classes on this day. August 11 & 12 with RSVP ILLNESSES & POTTY TRAINED: We take illness and the spread of germs very seriously. The rule of thumb for swimming lessons is if your child would not go to school or had to miss out on an activity, they are not well enough to swim. Another rule of thumb is if symptoms from the neck up and there is no fever, you are safe to continue lessons. If symptoms are from the neck down (respiratory), miss the lesson. If your child has an active cough, a fever, or diarrhea please don’t come. No swim-diapers allowed. Child must be 100% potty trained no accidents. WEATHER GUIDELINE: Rain: Lessons can still be conducted in light rain for all ages if it’s warm outside. When we are getting a heavy downpour without thunder and lightning, it’s then at the discretion of the client and coach to both want to swim. Lightening: It must not be lightening for at least 30 minutes before attempting to conduct a lesson. If lightning occurs during a lesson, we must get out immediately. BOOKING DATE POLICIES: Please pay close attention to our policies and feel free to print them off. When you sign (Electronically or Print) each session's registration form, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to our policies. CANCELLATION POLICIES: We do not allow cancellations of swimming lessons. Please only enroll if you know your vacation/camp schedules. Lessons are non-refundable unless there is someone on the waitlist who takes over your spot. But the refunds will be slow. PAYMENT & SESSIONS: Upon scheduling your lessons, the schedule is final.
